Gill-T Games
Gill-T Games is the St. Louis home of innovative gaming inventions like the Wizard’s Wheel and the Dice Cannon, and original gaming content like More Monsters and the Rota Magnus system. Looking back at the variety of projects that have moved from my drawing board and workshop to convention floors, I appreciate all the kind words, input, and purchases made since I started doing this in 2022.
Rota Fortunae Wizard’s Wheel
Gill-T Games started with the Rota Fortunae Wizard’s Wheel. It’s a new way to get random results for your tabletop role-playing games. The Rota Fortunae was well received during its premier run in 2022 and sold out completely. These original versions are no longer available.
The Dice Cannon
The original Dice Cannon premiered at Geekway to the West in St. Louis, 2022. it was a modest thing. One of the other vendor’s suggested a wooden carriage, a suggestion I first thought to be ludicrous, but through a number of iterations I’ve managed to work out. Each new edition of the Dice Cannon is better than the last, and these have proven sometimes more popular than the wheels.
Kickstarter of 2022
For the Kickstarter of 2022, I created some new disc platters and created a new version of the wheel, the sicut fava. It was an interesting experience and I learned a lot of ways to improve the wheel and other products.
2023 Wizard’s Wheel
The new Wizard’s Wheel spins better, looks better, takes up less space, and comes in more varieties than ever before. Every wheel comes with a d100, dry erase, d20, and hit location. The polyhedral platters have been completely redesigned as well. Felt on the bottom make these a kinder gentler tabletop accessory, and the studs on the wheel increase the spin duration. Altogether a much improved product.
Rota Magnus
Having re-invented the wheel, it was natural to figure out what it was good for besides imitating dice rolls. Thus was born the Rainbow Wheel and the Rota Magnus combat system. The playtest is available now.
Spinners
Rota Magnus doesn’t require an entire Wizard’s Wheel. All you need is the color spinner, so I started making some of these. If you just want one or two of the options available for the Wizard’s Wheel, it might be more practical to use a spinner.
A Monster on the Phone
A Monster on the Phone presents updated versions of the More Monsters lineup. They go up roughly weekly on the Gill-T Games Patreon.
